Multiple Douglas County Volunteer Fire Departments are sending several volunteer crews and apparatus to help with the fire suppression of the Cottonwood Fire and Morrill Fire in western Nebraska. Crews left the Boys Town Fire Department at 10am this morning. Fire Chief Nick Thoreen from Boys Town Fire is the lead on this deployment and will also be responding out west with the crews.
