Today I trialled the GiveVision headset and for the first time in years I could actually see the game again, the ball, the pitch, the goals, and a huge 3–2 win over Coventry. Combined with great audio description, it was unforgettable 🤩 #BCFC #KRO

Today we celebrate 150 yrs of @BCFC . As a VI Bluenose, I might not always see things clearly, but I’ve always felt the emotion, community & soul of this club Thinking of family who passed this love down, the friends beside me now, & my grandson. Here’s to the next 150! KRO 💙

✨ Small Wins, Big Feelings Went to the shop solo, a huge deal for me. I can’t read expiry dates anymore (who makes them so tiny!) But my new Meta AI glasses read them for me 😍 No more ‘mystery meals’ past their best! Independence, confidence & in-date food, I’ll take that win!

As someone who’s VI, my cane is my independence 💙 But it’s spent plenty of time on the floor while I scramble to find it (sparkles don’t shine so bright on dull days😂) Found these simple walking stick holders, life-changing! Accessibility is often in the little things 💫

✨ My Story, My Journey, My Vision ✨ If you’d told me I’d rely on AI glasses one day, I’d have laughed! 😅 But living with sight loss means help isn’t always there when you need it. My new Meta AI Wayfarer Gen 2 glasses 👓 are helping me embrace tech, independence & change 💙

@TonyLeadbeater A bit high tech for me that’s for sure 😅 Although not a VI aid, they can describe what’s in front of me by taking a screenshot and describing, read labels and hopefully signs, hands free calls and messaging, and video record.
