Robins are not a common breeding bird in the Alicante region but I saw several pairs yesterday in woodland about an hour from Pinoso. Sorry moth lovers this Orange-underwing was for small mouths. Is the moth id correct? #birds #birdphotography #moths #birding #naturephotography

After a visit to family Rob and I paid the Long-tailed Shrike a visit at East Leach. Great set up with parking etc and got eyes on it straight away. Not easy to get photos due to heat haze and foliage but I found some small vistas to point camera into. Cracking bird!

The underside of the Plain Tiger butterfly is just as beautiful as the upper wings. A common butterfly around El Hondo but not so many this year. Not sure why? #butterfly #butterflyphotography #butterflies #insects #naturephotography
