Was that just a strong, five second earthquake in Jackson Heights?

I'm not using Twitter much anymore, but this is the place I usually go to say: wow, sooooo many NYC drivers just running red lights these days. Not like "could be yellow or red". No. Everyone stops. Guy moves to the left turn lane to go around everything and through the light.

Driver pulled over and ticketed by Santa Monica police. In NYC you can stop your car in the middle of an active crosswalk, open your rear hatch, and have a tailgate party without anything happening to you

@travis_robert My sister in law brought some kids stuff they didn't need anymore over from long Island. Because she couldn't give em away out there. Gone in less than an hour.

@ennuiboy420 @pdglenn Yeah, if there were only e bikes, your ride was free (that is, the cost of a regular ride). But now, they're charging for the extra goodness of the new bikes. Which I will pay, because they are good!

@pdglenn @Phredward that is not correct! previously you'd be given the ebike at the cost of a regular bike (ie free for subscribers). i've asked someone not to dock their non-ebike bike so i could snipe a free ebike before 😭

Oh great. Unlocking transportation features for money came to citibike. (Note that I still love citibike, and before they were giving you something for free, but still).

Just got my first flat tire in way over a year. The good people at @BicycleHabitat had it fixed in 10 min while I picked up my kids.

San Francisco should follow New York’s lead & empower residents to help end rampant double parking. Double parking has long been a problem in SF, causing traffic jams & blocking buses & bike lanes. SF rarely enforces double parking. Time to change that. gothamist.com/news/hate-doub…

If New York is the greatest city in the world, how come we let one of the busiest bike paths get egregiously overgrown with weeds?
