DSTV laughed until Netflix arrived. Taxis slept until Uber moved. Shops ignored Shein and Temu. Newspapers mocked social media. Celebrities dismissed influencers. Every giant thinks disruption is noise, until it becomes the market. The real question is: who is sleeping now?
Wow… one of the greatest highlights of my life! … receiving the Order of Ikhamanga in Gold from President Cyril Ramaphosa 🇿🇦
South Africa’s National Orders are the highest awards that the country, through the President, bestows on its citizens and eminent foreign nationals. The Order of Ikhamanga recognises South African citizens who have excelled in the fields of arts, culture, literature, music, journalism and sport.
I am deeply grateful to be recognised for my work as a flautist, composer and arranger and especially for using music to inspire young people and unite communities across cultural and geographical borders.
I have always believed in the power of music as a universal language - one that can heal, uplift and bring people together. To be acknowledged not only for artistic achievement but also for empowering others through music, makes this honour profoundly meaningful to me.
My heartfelt thanks to everyone who has shared this journey with me over the years. Your support, encouragement and belief in the transformative power of music have made this possible.
South Africa will always be at the heart of my music and my purpose.
My sincere gratitude for this extraordinary honour. 🇿🇦 ❤️

@GautengHealth Hi, why are pregnant women at Mofolo Clinic in Soweto not allowed to have their pregnancy scans printed and not even allowed to take photos or videos of their pregnancy scans?
All healthcare workers in Gauteng are urged to join the movement and serve with a smile. Let us pledge to serve our patients with a genuine smile, every day, in every interaction. Together, we can create an environment that promotes healing, support and respect

@Nkosievumile Shame their burgers are tops, those beef Pattie’s and the mushroom sauce are amazing but anything else on that menu is just rubbish honestly!!!
Whenever I try to feel sorry for Fadiel Adams being transported at the back of a police van from Cape Town to Durban, I remember this video of him calling for black people from the Eastern Cape to all sell their assets, leave the Western Cape and go back home 😭
@Mashesha_RSA Adams is correct though. People coming from the Eastern Cape are putting strain on services and infrastructure leading to overcrowded schools and clinics, growing informal settlements etc. Plus, increased competition for low-skilled jobs make harder for locals to find work
@penuelist_ I had no problem with uncle Herb until the book scandal with Mashele. It’s the same with Julius I had a problem with him when he bought a brand new BMW for that weed smoking king! 😂😂😂
I stand to be corrected, but I think the 2 main things holding many people from supporting ActionSA is that:
1. Herman Mashaba is pro-Israel.
2. ActionSA policy is to scrap BEE.
Please advise if I am misguided or if forgot anything. Thank you 🙏🏽

This might be scripted but, I worked in a convenience store for almost 20 years. This type of shit does happen. People are assholes to clerks sometimes. When people would throw money or food at me like that, they'd get to told to leave. The owner didn't play that shit either. He was more than happy to tell you to get the fuck out and not come back if people treated us like that.
