@PhrogPollen I'm sorry sis. I didn't realize you were in burnout too. I'm praying for you. It's terrible, and honestly I hope both of us can regain the passion we have for serving Jesus in the way we can. I'm here for you if you need support or prayer.

Vtubers and YouTubers alike, how do you defeat burnout once you're in it? I haven't uploaded consistently in WEEKS, my views for the last 28 days are down 50 percent from usual, and my mental state around wanting to make content just sucks! Like, I WANT to make videos, but every time I try to record something, it never fails that my mind starts to spiral into the familiar pattern of doom thinking that it won't get any traction, it won't matter, and it's not even worth it. I want to make something I can be proud of and glorify God in the process. But I'm seriously just lost in doing anything at all. I can't stream for too long because I don't have the energy for it. And my mind self-sabotages any ideas for videos. I'm just tired of not being able to actually move forward from this. I really do believe that I'm meant to do this, I just don't know how to get unstuck 😭

@PhrogPollenYT ...so I know for a fact you positively impacted the lives of thousands, even before the proper VTuber era, and sometimes, just changing the lives of one person is enough. And you've certainly done A THOUSAND TIMES MORE than that, all while being humble, wholesome & a good friend

I know God has called me to online ministry. But I see greater, more motivated, and more influential people then me stumbling and falling. I see the rot and the horrid skeletons behind the scenes of these big creators. Literally everyone I looked up to a month or two ago I now doubt if they're even of the faith. How on earth am I supposed to succeed where better people have failed. -------------- It's not about my success. It's not about me being motivated, or influential, or personable, or capable, or righteous, or respectable, or informed, or impactful. It's not about me. Thank God, it's not about me. There will always be false teachers, there will always be corruption in the church. All I can do is keep my eyes fixed on Jesus.

@Barbarian_Prime She was an odd person, and my roommate. Unfortunately, at that time in my life, I was so used to my mother being emotionally manipulative, I thought all the issues in our friendship were my fault.

So I have a rapier. She's not sharpened, but as far as I know, she counts as a real sword. I got her from a blacksmithy at a Ren Faire. The day I bought her, a toxic friend got mad I went off on my own at the Faire and purposefully bent her. So she's a little wonky and the sheath doesn't go on all the way, but I still love her.
