@oogamusic @breadwinnerbass Maybe a hot take. I don’t have anything agains weed but I think a large number of people mostly people who have been using it recreationally since teen years quit weed for a solid 2+ months would realize it’s actually the cause of everything they think it helps.

@breadwinnerbass I need at least 3-7 days off weed to start getting creative, and that’s when I start writing new stuff really fast, but also when brain go brrrr way too hard. if I were to suck the soul out of a bong at that point I would probably have a heart attack

the never ending dillema for me is the fact that weed makes it impossible for me to write music that feels true / good to me - but without it, my mind moves way too fast and the anxiety is almost unbearable It’s like I’m constantly nerfing myself lol

@oogamusic @breadwinnerbass Back when I quit smoking weed it took several weeks to reach what has now become my new normal. THC stays in your system for so long I think to actually escape the mental dependency it takes much longer than 5-7 days.
