Yes, very stange. In my area, we didn’t get that high of winds as I was outside in it when it came through. Power went out just before 8pm in about a 1/2 mile circumference around me. The strange part for me was that our impact was no more than a normal spring/summer storm. First post that I came across while looking for weather related posts in our area and agreed based on what I experienced. I can’t speak for other areas in Mid-TN. I didn’t get much more information about the rest of Mid-TN until this morning. Don’t be like those arrogant welders or machinists man. Blindly attacking people sucks. lol Relax a little. By your name I am assuming that you were very busy last night and trust me when I say that most of us are grateful that you’re out there for us.

I understand this concept. My question is: Humans have an instinctive need for purpose; meaningful purpose with results and contributions. For all the humans that loose that to AI and the lack of productive activities to provide that, what happens? Idle hands leads to bad things. We see this evidence all over the place now.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

I never seen this post or got any notifications. The weather app on iPhone and NOAA didn’t show it on their systems either. I was actively checking weather around dinner time. I guess that I am going to have to start paying more attention to local weather… Was totally caught by surprise and have been without power since they came through.
