Need Help. In this paper Knee abduction is considered positive (+) and knee adduction is considered negative (-). Yet when someone moves from -3.3 degrees to 1.1 degrees they say ABDuction DECREASED. It seems like they went from an adducted to an abducted position - more ABD

This thread will be dedicated to the victims of the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas. As a parent, my heart is broken seeing these faces and their ages. My condolences to their families during this difficult time 🙏🏻 Xavier Lopez, 10. He was a 4th grader at Robb Elementary.

There is a rise in hospitalization (including ICU) due to the Omicron surge, but this is nowhere near what we would have seen with similar numbers of Delta. Mass vaccination & a less virulent variant are helping. Still have to keep a close watch on healthcare capacity...

I was escorted out of the mall today for not wearing a mask. I tested negative this morning and had to do some Christmas shopping. Over 15 officers were inside stopping those who had masks under their noses or none at all. The shoplifters must've had a good day today.

@screws1974 @BogochIsaac Spanish Flu had an unconfirmed but generally accepted number of 50 million deaths worldwide. Covid 19 and all it’s variants have caused approx 5.3 million deaths. Also, the world population of 1918 to now was approx 2 billion versus 7.9 billion. ✅

We're not going to '3rd dose' our way out of the pandemic just like we were never going to mask our way out. Vaccines (especially 1st & 2nd but also 3rd), masks, rapid tests, ventilation, sound policy, etc... ...each is a helpful tool providing additional/incremental benefit.

A Reddit user is asking if they're wrong for not giving their roommate a ride to work 🚘 The writer apparently has to leave their house by 6:50am to get to work - their roommate said the earliest she can leave is 7. The writer didn't give her the ride. What do you think of this?
