Erfolgreicher Start! Der Ballon ist unterwegs

Das Johanneum Gymnasium in Herborn lässt heute einen Stratosphärenballon fliegen mit einem MuonPi Detector an Bord. Einen live Tracker gibt es hier: strato.muonpi.org

Exciting news! The balloon has found its way back to us. It was picked up close to Wolfersgrün in Bavaria. We're still analyzing the captured data but here are some great pictures from the camera we had on board!

Got a new position! Heading after it soon

As of now, we've lost the positional signal of the balloon. We're waiting for it to burst, until then, we'll keep monitoring the data shown on strato.muonpi.org

The balloon has burst! We're off to (try to) collect it.
