Whole of 2025 so far, we have been busy in upgrading our server architecture, UI, webpage and also introducing new apps/features. Rest of the year we will be releasing these features in a phased manner with options to you all to opt in when you need.

@PiSignage Can I connect with local server?

We have a new SD card image based on latest Raspberry OS and version 5.3.2 available at #getting-the-player-ready" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/colloqi/piSign…. We are excited about this image as it solves the known issues we had in previous 5.x.x releases! Last few days, users who are using Google authentication to login were not able to do so. We have fixed the issue, sorry for the inconvenience!

We have a new server release available today which supports Single Sign On using SAML, built-in support for PowerBI reports displays (available under Add Assets as a separate link type). Please write to support if you need any help on using these features or face any issues. We are also excited with the latest Raspberry OS update and working on a single image for all Pi models!

@NathanD1919 Hi Nathan, it will not be directly available, but we will have a migration path by next mid-year where we plan to merge both code bases

This year, piSignage team is working on many exciting features which we plan to introduce before end of year. These include new UI, interactive features.

We have released 5.2.2 which fixes videos not playing when VLC is selected after the latest bookworm update

Today's server release includes - ability to signup/login using Google credentials - who opted for Extra storage, these will be billed every month using player credits (1 credit for every 2GB). Please write to us if you want to increase or reduce the storage you purchased earlier to avoid monthly billing

We have new release and SD card image 5.2.1 available. This is available as both 64 and 32 bit OS, supports wayland and X11 protocols. Raspberry bookworm 64 bit OS based SD card image is available now. Currently it works on Pi 4 & 5. Eventually we will extend the bookworm OS to all Pi models (some on 32 bit).
