Today marks the 84th anniversary of the first flight of the Piaggio P.108C. A transatlantic airliner developed from the P.108B bomber, it was one of the few Italian four-engined airliners of its era. Although no P.108C survives, we're proud to preserve three wind tunnel models.

We were pleased to welcome a delegation from MÜSİAD, together with representatives from regional and local institutions, to our campus in Villanova d'Albenga. We thank our guests for their visit and look forward to strengthening our collaboration and partnership.

Today we celebrate the 162nd anniversary of the birth of Rinaldo Piaggio, whose vision and pursuit of innovation shaped the foundations of Piaggio. Since 1884, that spirit has connected millions worldwide – from Vespa scooters to the P.180 – and continues to inspire us today.

Happy birthday to the Piaggio P.149! Exactly 73 years ago today, this trainer and liaison aircraft made its first flight. Thankfully, several P.149s are still flying as warbirds today – a legacy we hope will continue for many years to come.
