A beautiful custom well worth recovering is that, when you move into a new place, you invite the parish priest to give a blessing of the home. If you can't get a priest, there are blessings you can do yourself! @thegnewsroom

I watched the video several times. She said she was "pro-choice" - NOT pro-abortion. I can see the difference. Ya'll are attributing values to this woman she never voiced (either pro/con with regards to the act of abortion). In fact the preachy school marms this post is loaded with makes me recoil. Freewill is one of God's greatest gifts. I am also "pro-choice" when it comes to many things. I am anti-abortion. Life begins at conception. This lady may feel the same. I'll never know as Ms. Hawkins (whose work I generally support) shut the young lady down before I could hear her. #1. Don't do that. Life is not an echo chamber or a "gotcha" contest (even though many live that way). There isn't one of you people posting that hasn't gone against church teaching at some point in your life. I struggle with the dogma that pro-choice = pro-abortion. That logic doesn't add up. Try it with alcohol, cigarettes, fast food or divorce. You can't force people to choose good. So I come home and see all my groceries just dumped outside like this. Bags thrown on the concrete, drinks on the ground, everything just sitting there like trash. Zero care. What makes it worse is that I messaged them to wait because I was literally near the house, minutes away. And still, no call, no text, no waiting. Just a quick doorbell tap and they vanished. Cool, thanks for the heads-up that my food is outside slowly becoming a neighborhood donation. I'm not asking for five-star service, but this is straight-up lazy and disrespectful. If you're going to drop stuff off, at least don't treat it like you're tossing junk on a sidewalk. This genuinely pissed me off because it's such an easy thing to do right, and somehow they still didn't.

This woman is afraid of her neighbor’s dogs. They keep breaking through the fence, when she complains to the neighbor, they offer no help, they tell her to call the pound. The dogs come into the yard and try to attack her dog, they urinate everywhere and try to enter her dog door into her home and tried to eat her cats. These folks probably caught one of the coolest natural occurrences on video that I've seen in a while! A thin sheet of ice floats to shore and creates a wonderment for these young boys, their sister and mom! Do you know the specific name for this natural occurrence?
