🏆 TOP CONTENDERS
Trey Yesavage (+320)
Yesavage went on a serious postseason run for Toronto Blue Jays and is locked into the rotation on Day 1. The strikeout stuff is elite. Walks could get him in trouble at times, but we’ve already seen the ceiling — and it’s dominant.
Munetaka Murakami (+425)
Murakami has the highest ceiling of any rookie in 2026. The generational power is real. The question is how the transition to MLB goes and whether the strikeout rate becomes an issue. Either way, he’ll be one of the most watched rookies in baseball — and if the bat translates quickly, this price could disappear fast.
🌟 DARK HORSES
Sam Basallo (+900)
Basallo is a monster. 115.9 Max EV in AAA last season. The raw power is undeniable, and the plate discipline is solid enough that the K-rate shouldn’t spiral. He doesn’t pull fly balls as much as you’d love, but consistent playing time with the Baltimore Orioles — especially at DH — could unlock a breakout season.
Chase DeLauter (+2000)
At 24, DeLauter is one of the most polished hitters in this rookie class. He should be an everyday outfielder for the Cleveland Guardians. He won’t chase. He won’t strike out much. He’ll work walks and hit the ball hard. His floor feels like top-5 in voting. And Cleveland always seems to hang around the playoff race — he could be a big reason why.
💣 LONGSHOTS
Spencer Jones (+5000)
At 24, Jones should debut sooner rather than later with the New York Yankees. When he makes contact, it’s elite — 94th percentile or better in Max EV, xSLG, and HardHit%. The downside? He won’t walk much and the strikeouts will be loud. But if he gets regular time in Yankee Stadium, the power could play in a big way.
Emmanuel Rodriguez (+7500)
Rodriguez is raw but electric. There’s real pop, and he’ll take his walks. The AAA strikeout rate is concerning, though. The Minnesota Twins could lean into youth throughout the season and give him a long runway. His ceiling comps to a James Wood type bat if everything clicks.
🚫 STAYING AWAY
Connelly Early (+1400)
Early is a dawg, but projecting opportunity is tough given the rotation depth for the Boston Red Sox. If he somehow logs a full season, he’ll be in the mix — but at +1400, the risk outweighs the reward.
Travis Bazzana (+2200)
Bazzana is a strong prospect and should be a good player. But the minor league analytics don’t quite support him being priced alongside the top tier here. At this number, you’re not getting enough value relative to the upside profiles above.
