In light of the allegations of sexual assault, Eric Swalwell should resign from Congress and end his campaign for public office. But those decisions do not absolve him of taking responsibility for his misconduct, especially when he has attempted to silence and retaliate against these victims.
These allegations merit full investigations, and these women deserve the right to pursue justice.
Too often, men escape any consequence for sexual misconduct by stepping out of power. That is a first and necessary step towards justice because it limits the ability for further harm. I stand with these women as they seek justice.

Every voter in CA including the Republican ones should skip over Tom Steyer and automatically go look at Becerra and re-evaluate Porter.
Tom does not need the job. He does not want the job. Steyer has ulterior motives to make himself richer.
Disqualify him on that alone.

The accusations against Swalwell aren't he-said-she-said. They're well reported, fairly corroborated, detailed and damning. And while he's denying them, it's with precise language ("These allegations are false" v. I have never engaged in any such type of behavior). He has allies abandoning him (Pelosi giving the TKO) and, in all likelihood, more stories coming. This is unsustainable.

@16th6toothSon @gremloe yeah for sure, these kind of situations suck because people will argue about both sides and how they should have done things differently or whos right or wrong. When the real issue is what lead up to this happening and what could have preemptively prevented it.
