A Statistical comparison for All the ODI Batters with 5000+ Runs (98 + Klusener & Pietersen, so an even 100) I used Top 7 Avg & SR of other batters in same games & then measured how much better the Player was. The Overall Ratio is the Geometric Mean of Average & SR Ratio (1/n)

The Car Crash where Rishabh nearly lost his life is the 2nd most traumatic thing in his life. 1st is playing for Goenkas IPL team On a serious note Rishabh should step down as captain next year & i bet the 27cr payday is a huge pressure on him. Hopefully itll be better next year

The only foreigner (& player before these 2) was Andre Russell back in 2019. To put this into perspective Guys like MS Dhoni, Kieron Pollard, David Miller & Hardik Pandya have never scored 500+ Runs in an IPL season. To do that as a finisher back in 2019 with 200+ SR is insane.

RCB won 9 games in 2016. virat & abd were the MOTMs in all of them except 1. RCB have won 9 games so far this season, we have had 8 different MOTM winners. this is a way better & more complete team than the 2016 one & its not even a debate.

Have heard multiple reports that CA is convincing Smith to reconsider his ODI retirement. Don't know if those reports have any merit or if smith is non-committal. . But if he does make a comeback he'll be a real asset in that WC & provide the middle order stability.
