I've arrived in Sidmouth and also seemingly in the 1980s. I'm going to have quite a bath later.

@msloobylou @MrJonnieB @Lucie_Fur99 The vast majority are delightful - the kids are alright etc. There’s always a couple of twats around but that’s as true of teenagers as it is adults and toddlers.

@MrJonnieB @Lucie_Fur99 My friends’ kids are all so impressive, as are their friends so I imagine this is true the world over. And it ain’t easy being young now.

@MrJonnieB Same actually- gitanes were my fave but only an occasional treat. Loved More menthol too and good old Marlboro lights. If only it was good for you.

@Pidders2 @marksandspencer My le creuset was, after 25 years and a summer being outdoors 😬 but too expensive for a replacement.

I know they’ve ™️ ‘d it but honestly @marksandspencer ‘love that’ is soooo irritating. However the cast iron pots are a win. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

@MrJonnieB They probably feared post Higher gitanes round the back of the sports hall.

@Pidders2 We had to read a book for Higher but were prohibited from reading one chapter because it contained Gallic shagging I had a driving licence by that point
