@PidgyEdits @Blender Thanks! Sadly I haven't really recorded anything, but I plan to do some walk-through guides at some point, explaining my process that would include my work-in-progress screenshots of the 3d scene and the artwork at the various stages of painting.

My latest artwork - two astronauts exploring the surface of Saturn's icy moon, Enceladus. Plumes from the subsurface ocean are lit up by the dim sunlight. Digital painting, @Blender and Photoshop, 2026. Any cool ideas for what the mission should be called?

@3Dmattias Absolutely insane. I want to try raymarching but unsure what's the best way to try it. Is it opengl? Vex with a grid against the camera?

From 30 years ago, a spacecraft I designed and rendered using POVRay for an animation I created portraying the diversion of a comet using a nuclear weapon. This wasn't designed in a modeling program, it was hand drafted and the geometry transcribed into POV Scene description language by hand.
