in the games gladion says in multiple languages that he does what he does TO protect lillie. left home to save type:null then trained at the royal to become stronger to help silvally AND help his sister. in the manga it’s the same. he puts himself through pain to help her

i’ve seen people say gladion would get mad at lillie/be mean to her dude gladion wouldn’t even be mean to lillie as a joke. gladion has never been rude to lillie or even frustrated when she’s slowing him down. gladion would set himself on fire to keep lillie warm for 5 minutes
