Varinder Singh, a 28-year-old man, was caught on CCTV footage in Bradford, England, strangling his estranged wife in a parking lot, rendering her semi-conscious. He then placed her in his car and attempted to drive away. The woman managed to escape from the moving car as Singh was leaving the parking lot, but he then deliberately drove into her. Despite the horrifying incident, the woman escaped serious injuries and sought help from bystanders. Singh was subsequently sentenced to six years in prison at Bradford Crown Court for the vicious assault.
