Deputies in San Marcos pulled over a red Hyundai Sonata for a vehicle code violation late at night. @TonyLaneNV Why not back off, “let him go”, and then attempt to contain him some other way? Was shooting the only option? True, his gun was a threat to the police, but he was inside the car. The police could have temporarily backed off. To my mind this is poor training.
