Last night, I remembered how, during the George Floyd protests, there were tons of people, studios, and corporations saying how they'd pour into Black creatives... only for none of them to actually follow through (to my knowledge, at least).

Hoping to upgrade my audio interface and my boom arm soon!
I’ve been using a motu m2 audio interface (which I barely hear anyone talk about, kinda scary haha) and a yotto boom arm that sadly doesn’t hold my Rode very well.
So — my research begins.

I’m saving up money to buy a vocal booth!
I record in a small non-walk in closet with studio blankets. But my mic is close to the wall causing a bit of a boxy sound that I try to minimize as much as possible.
But I think it’s about time for the change! ☺️🎙️
