Two more Dark Angels successor intercessors painted up. Finally got to try out the custodian heads on one and love the result

@S0me136220 They are not I just chose blue tones I like. Dark angels follow the classic librarian colours in the lore so an even darker blue for thr armour although they would have a green and white pad symbol instead

@PinchPainting Are the colors a reference to ezekiel? Idk if all librarians in dark angels are a blackish blue

@FatuusFatui Decals are effective and a valid solution. I use them for my dark Angel symbol although I do paint over it for a darker red

@PinchPainting Wonderful, what's you opinion on chest mounted tilt shields?

@OsobaOsoba84556 You've done a pretty good job. It's quite neat. If you want to cheat a bit some transfers on top of the geometric shapes can help while you build your confidence in freehand

@LuthenTheMasked Lore is very WIP , but they are a chapter mainly revolving around a small system they protect and recruit from and lets just say their actions are quite questionable and its not going to end up well for them in the imperiums eyes

@VeryFastTrash @R3dSands @Jericho17205019 Hate to disappoint a tad but most of my guys are just white dudes. I Have made an effort to do more non white skin colours as of late and that correction might have mislead you. My end goal is for the chapters to be fully ethically diverse reflecting their recruiting pool

@R3dSands @Jericho17205019 And after all this, if you ACTUALLY care about any of this, I’d go as far to suggest checking out @PinchPainting because their custom dark angels chapter leans very heavily African/black and is one of my favorite custom chapters of all time.

I've seen people complain about the optional paintjobs on these new Space Marine bikers. Personally, I like them. The white scars being given attention in 40k is a good thing. warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles…

@LuthenTheMasked @warhammer I don't have a exact colours I'm afraid. I paint skin tones with different paints very time. The key things I do is aik to being life to the skin tones with red, green, yellow washes and build highlights but not just mixing white into my base skin mix.

@PinchPainting @warhammer I’m super curious what colors and methods you used to get the skin tone values you have on this model. I myself want to incorporate more of my own skin tone in my army more. Were there any tutorials you followed to get there?
