Spike Night was one to remember! 🏐✨ Thank you to everyone who came out to play, cheer, and support. From our alumni and student teams to our dedicated staff and the Lakewood Police Department, the energy in the gym was unmatched.

A great group of juniors had the opportunity to visit NJCU in Jersey City for an informative and fun college tour. They explored campus, learned about the many opportunities NJCU offers, and heard an especially helpful presentation about the Educational Opportunity Fund program.

A big thank you to Supreme Courts in Toms River for donating pickleball paddles to our students at Lakewood High School! 🏓 We appreciate your support! Our students are excited to get on the court and put them to good use!

Our preschoolers celebrated the 101st day of school by dressing up like adorable Dalmatians. Students who came in their spots got a special trip to the “Puppy Pound,” where they were able to adopt their very own puppy and received an official adoption certificate to take home.

February is Black History Month, and students at Lakewood High School are engaging in meaningful research through the LHS Library.

Due to the inclement weather and hazardous travel conditions anticipated, Lakewood Public Schools will be closed on Monday, February 23, 2026. All schools and district offices will be closed. Please stay safe and take necessary precautions.

LMS Social Studies Department hosted a Native American Indian Day with tons of activities, collaborations and guest speakers. Thank you to Lakewood staff and our community members for participating in this opportunity to teach our students about the American Indian culture!

Recently, Lakewood Middle School students had the opportunity to learn about various career paths through an educational visit from local first responders. We’d like to thank all the agencies who took the time to engage with and educate our students!
