A Night in Mondstadt - Happy Accident Part 2 Release date: Feb 29, 2024 Lumine VA: @invadernoodles Sucrose VA: @Nyono8008_ Lisa VA: @_PixieWillow ----------------------------- 2023 Pink Sama: After 14 months of production, and countless hours of work... I can now say, with full confidence, that the First Chapter of the A Night in Teyvat series is finally, and truly done!!! And now... First and foremost!.. I would like to give a SUUUPER THANKS to all the Chads that supported me on patreon and fanbox this past year. None of this would even be possible without your support! I'd also like to thank miss Nyono and miss Noodles for giving life to my Sucrose and Lumine. I really couldn't have been luckier to have found such perfect fit for the roles :3... As well as miss Pixie for helping me out with some design choices and agreeing to cameo a certain purple mommy mage XD... I do hope I can work with all of you again in the future :3 I also learned a whole bunch from this project... Especially in the audio side of things! Figuring out how to blend all of the different voices, SFX, and BGM into one, and making them feel as natural as possible was defo a huge challenge! Thankfully, I never ran short of helpful feedbacks from the Chads and my VA's. And so I was eventually able to cobble up all of it into something that is hopefully worthy of the VA's performance... Aaaaand the countless YouTube tutorials didn't hurt either XD It also gave me a whole new perspective in animation! Being on the driver seat and directing the actresses, figuring out the best ways to convey my vision (mostly through trial and error XD), all while dealing with unforeseen set backs that naturally comes with collaborating with other people, REEEALLY gave me more of a respect to creators like Derpixon, Studio FOW, Zone Sama, Nyl and many other creators, directing far more complex workflows, and collaborating many more artists and VAs, to make their creations a reality... I can only imagine the headache they had to go through XD So... What's next? You ask? Liyue! Now that I'm done with the Mondstadt chapter of the A Night in Teyvat Series, I'll now focus my attention on remaking A Night in Liyue - Prank Gone Wrong into a full-length animation like this one!.. eventually XD I also made some pretty significant upgrades to my character models recently that I like to call Gen 2 Models!.. And I made a short 6 min. animation of Sucrose and Lumine to test them out... Which, once dubbed, will be posted here as well!.. eventually XD For now, I'd like to distance myself from any heavy audio editing stuff, and just focus on animating PGW and completing Gen 2 Hu Tao and Xiangling, as I've been doing audio stuff for more than a month straight now, and I miss animating T-T And that's about it! A Night in Mondstadt - Happy Accident Epilogue Lumine VA: @invadernoodles Sucrose VA: @_PixieWillow Additional SFX: @Shattered_lewd ----------------------------- At the tail end of 2023, while waiting for the voice actresses to do their thing... I decided to give my character models a MUCH needed overhaul. Improving basically every aspect from topology to shading, all the way down to their rig. And ofc, I needed some place to test these next gen models out first before fully committing to using them in another 30 minute animation!.. So I thought, what better way to test them out than to take a quick peek inside the teapot and see what lewd shenanigans Sucrose and Lumine are up to. Now that they've had time to settle into their very own private paradise :3 And after a couple months of work, I made this quick and dirty 6 minute animation. Proving that Gen 2 Sucrose and Lumine are indeed, ready to go!..... Aaaaand then I forgot about it for nearly an entire year (ᵕ—ᴗ—)... Once 2024 rolled out, the VA's delivered their voice-overs... A couple months later, Happy Accident Part 2 was finished and released. After which I went straight to making Gen 2 Xiangling and Hu Tao to start production on the full length Liyue chapter. Thinking that eventually, I'll come back and finish up this Epilogue project and have it released to the public :3 Sure enough, the monotony of working on a single project for nearly a year straight, once again, got to me. So I decided to unearth this side project in my backlog to shake things up and give it another couple months of production time to finally have it fully dubbed and polished! And thanks to the overwhelming support of all the Chads, both old and new. As well as the stellar performances of miss Noodles and Pixie, who brought life to Lumine and Sucrose. I was able to pour all of the new skills and tricks that I've learned over the past year into this short but sweet animation :3 Overall, I'm pretty happy with the level of quality of this animation! And I'll be using it as the standard for the upcoming Prank Gone Wrong remake :3 Ngl, I am pretty intimidated at how much time and effort it took me to get to this level of quality in a mere 6 minute animation. Knowing that I now have to replicate that... but for an entire full-length 30 minute animation... Buuuttt I'm sure it'll pan out eventually XD And yeah!.. Again, SUPER DUPER THANKS to all the Chads who've supported me and allowed me to keep turning these silly passion projects of mine into a reality! A NIght in Liyue - Prank Gone Wrong (Old) Release date: July 15, 2022 This was my first animation so... please be kind XD I did do some color-grading and audio re-balancing stuff so it should be a bit more palatable now :3 ----------------------------- 2022 Pink Sama: After dedicating half a year of my life to learning blender (and animation in general), I present to you my FIRST EVER ANIMATION!!!... Uhhh... Except maybe for a couple of donuts... But we don't talk about the donuts! Jokes aside, I've had tons of fun making this video and it has given me a newfound respect for animators all around the world. Also, sorry for the cliffhanger. I had originally planned it to be just one big video, but I sorely underestimated how much time and effort these animation take, and had to cut it into two parts. Lastly, apologies if the voices feel kind of janky. Couldn't really afford an expert sound guy and/or voice actress so I just did my best with whatever cc0 sound clips I can find. But all in all, I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. Hopefully it'll still be to your liking ;) What's next? Tbh, I've kind of fallen for this animation thing, and it would be like a dream come true if I can do it full time. Maybe in the future, who knows... But until then, I'll continue to make videos like this whenever I can afford it :)
