@KeeganSmith_Law No one should be impressed on the basis they are homeless. Local authorities have a responsibility to accommodate homeless individuals. Case should be adjourned for court social worker to liaise with their colleagues in housing services to arrange accommodation. Straightforward

@sacro_ How sad and disappointing that the remanding of women into custody remains stubbornly high.

Discharge grants of around £75 are provided to all sentenced prisoners on release. Prisoners released from remand receive no financial support and will typically wait at least 4 weeks for benefit payments to be reinstated. #DemandLessRemand @KeithBrownSNP @COPFS @scottishprisons
