@HeadsAndTailsAZ The over reaction to pretty normal small defects like little mill holes/sewn tears and minor staining. Its so easy to work around these things and send normal feedback to the company quietly. Rather then run to Twitter for a public dog pile. Don't. Shit. Where. You. Eat. ✨️

I am... extremely tired of seeing folks /constantly/ dragging fur manus for nothing burger issues. Small mill holes, tiny bits of another color woven in randomly, small tears that were stitched up from the factory. When you make a huge nasty post about literal normal errors instead of cutting/working around it, you're setting these impossibly high standards for how these materials should arrive to you. And now that all these incredible in-fandom makers are making fur, you're creating this impossible expectation. What happens when a /completely normal/ milling error makes its way to your box of fur from one of these new makers? Are you going to drag them too? Because you're going to have no fur left yall. No one is going to want to work with you if the expectations are as volatile as they have been. I'm not singling out any one maker. Because frankly I've been seeing it for years from countless folks. ✨️check your materials before using them ✨️work around small holes or tears ✨️bring genuine issues up to the producer rather than twitter dot com??? And look. I'm not talking about real issues like heat damage or completely unusable pieces of fur. Those shouldn't make it out of the warehouse sure. I'm talking about some of the most non-issue defects I've seen, had in my own hands, and worked around without problems. Like. Idk man. This is probably the most lukewarm take I've ever had. But I'm real tired of all the belly aching.

Did you know that you have the power to shape cons? Emailing cons with good experiences you had goes a long way. Vendors you enjoyed? Panels that were a blast? Decorations for photos? Tell them! If its always bad it can be a bummer. Toss good in there for more of what you like
