@LOrakle @the_faustianman @myth_pilot @PaleoMarxism ex. The French role was positive but secondary. We purchased armaments with loans that were later repaid. Another issue was the role of Weygand - the leader of the French mission. He was mostly ignored by the Polish leaders. Later, although he try to avoid false glory ...

@Aris_Utensil Literally just before the war with Ukraine began, Russia demanded in official diplomatic notes the withdrawal of all NATO installations to the 1997 border, the partial disarmament of the alliance's eastern countries, and the right for Russia to inspect our military at will.

@Aris_Utensil expulsion of all Polish goods from the Russian market, publicly announced as an act of punishment, about the collusion with Belarus in bringing immigrants to Poland's eastern border. And many more. And all this before 2022. Your Russia is a Potemkin Village.

@Aris_Utensil American and Russian influence, it's not really a choice. Regarding Eastern Europe, you are a (typical, frankly) ignoramus with an opinion.

@Aris_Utensil First, you write about being sane, and now you ask deranged questions. You assume that Poland should go with Russia against the US... this is unthinkable and absurd. Poland lies in a specific geostrategic space and is playing a game for its future. If we have to choose between...

@GardeningKevin @Rothmus amount of luck, an absurd lack of coordination among their opponents, geostrategic considerations, and many more. What you write makes sense in relation to the February Revolution and the fall of Tsarism, and in that sense I agree, but it didn't have to end this way.

@GardeningKevin @Rothmus Communism won, firstly, because Lenin made a series of tactically sound decisions, Trotsky was capable in his role at the helm of the Red Army, and the Bolsheviks were the only faction capable of waging civil war with absolute ruthlessness. Furthermore, there was a significant...

@BNoticer40490 @dr_duchesne @DineshDSouza Do you think that if the whole history had turned out completely differently, it would have turned out completely differently? Aye. But not in everything. Now and then, their elites have the same problem of zealous devotion to an ideology.

@Kingbingo_ @FreeBirdonX Whoever blew up NS2 attacked the possibility of returning German-Russian relations to 'business as usual' and that's all. It had no impact on the UK.

@Kingbingo_ @FreeBirdonX in Europe. Given the capacity of these pipelines and others already in place, it wouldn't make any sense otherwise. When it comes to Eastern Europe, this is typical ignorance. If we were to discuss Russia and oil, we'd be talking about war sanctions.

The US is being forced to chose between their own interests & that of the rest of the world - or Israel's. We are weeks away from oil at $150+ Oil at $150 doesn’t just mean “high prices” it initiates demand destruction. Not instantly, but over months investment gets scrapped, businesses close, jobs go. The US isn’t insulated just because it produces oil. It produces light shale crude, but its refining system still depends on heavier imports. That mismatch means pain, especially in diesel which commercial vehicles rely on. You can't deliver the right fuels at the right scale without global trade. Even Russia that produces heavier crude doesn't want $150 oil. Its great for a few months, then your customers go bust and the demand is 'destroyed'. Only one nation wants this - specifically Netanyahu's government. Trump needs to accept a deal favourable to Iran because all other options are worse. This will politically extremely painful - and will need to be framed as a Chinese or European loss to save face. It really is that simple - this current US & Israel vs the World narrative is clearly not in the interests of the American people or anyone else. Its such as shame to see nonsensical propaganda holding such a vitriolic grip. The attempt to get Americans furious with Europe is clearly working. But it's misdirected, and serving Israel's not the US's agenda.

@BNoticer40490 @dr_duchesne @DineshDSouza This is an assumption that supports yours thesis but it is not true. It was Germans like R. Dutschke and G. Grass, and the left's long march through institutions, that reshaped the German psyche. This is also the basis of the difference between East and West Germany today.
