Today we were able, thanks to you all, to donate $101,398 to both Gaza and Lebanon to help the humans there. @PiousProjects is doing amazing work in both Gaza where they have over 20 kitchens, a medical clinic, and a handful of water tanks that serve Palestinians in Gaza daily. February Update!

Against all odds, Pious Projects successfully opened a field kitchen in the North of Gaza on February 22nd. This small kitchen stands not only as a testament to the dedication of our team but also to the indomitable spirit of all Palestinians. 🙏🏼

On February 4, 2024, our team cooked and distributed hot meals to feed hundreds of displaced families in Rafah. We thank everyone for their ongoing support. Without it, our daily work in Gaza would not be possible.

On January 8, 2024, our team assembled and distributed 1500 hygiene kits to displaced people living in and around Rafah city. Each kit cost about $25 to assemble, and they include essentials such as menstrual pads, shampoo, soap, disinfectant, and more.

On January 17, 2024, our team prepared hot meals for over 10,000 displaced people living in schools and tents in Rafah city. This distribution was carried out on behalf of The People for Gaza, a fundraising event hosted by the Chicago community, successfully raising over $126k!

On January 14, 2024, our team cooked for and fed hundreds of displaced families living in Rafah city. The UN reports that over 90% of Gaza's population faces severe food insecurity. Nearly every household skips meals every day, and if food is available, prices have skyrocketed.

On January 10, 2024, our team continued its daily distributions in Rafah city, providing hot meals to thousands of displaced families in Rafah. According to the UNRWA, there are an estimated 1.7 million internally displaced people in Gaza.

On January 9, 2024, our team cooked and distributed hot meals to thousands of displaced families living in Shaboura refugee camp located in Rafah city. It is beyond disheartening to witness the panicked expressions of our brothers and sisters as they reach out for food.

On January 8, 2024, our team cooked 4000 hot meals to feed the displaced people living in Rafah city. Each passing day of this prolonged crisis brings greater hardship and uncertainty. But for as long as it continues, we are committed to supporting our brothers & sisters in Gaza.
