Elizabeth Arenas continued to lower her own school records at the Shawnee Mission North Relays Friday, May 8, this time shattering her previous time by nine seconds. Elizabeth’s new record is 5:00.73. Keep up the good work!

The boys 4x800m relay team broke the school record Friday, May 8 at Shawnee Mission North Relays. Justus Lockamy, Conner Johnson, Oliver Bass, and Quinn Hanson ran a 8:05.06 to set the new record. Congratulations on the accomplishment!

Da’Mon Jamierson broke the school record in the 100m dash at the United Kansas Conference Championships Thursday, May 14. Da’Mon ran a 10.63 to become the new school record holder. Congratulations Da’Mon!

The girls 4x400m relay broke the school record Thursday, May 14 at the UKC championship. The girls ran a 3:59.13, breaking the previous record by over 3 seconds. Relate to team members are Nora Turney, Ella Eads, Elizabeth Arenas, and Anneliese Lockwood. Congratulations!

Piper Track & Field Boys and Girls 2026 UKC Champions!

The Piper boys track & field team are back-to-back conference champions! On Thursday, May 14, the Pirates scored 162 points to secure the team title at the UKC Championships. Several PRs from both veterans and newcomers helped lead the Pirates to victory in a true team effort.

The Piper girls track & field team won the program’s first conference championship in school history! The Pirates scored 158.5 points to become the 2026 UKC Champions. Several PRs and heavy workloads from key athletes helped propel the team to victory. Congratulations, Girls!

Shinji Pollard ran the 3rd fastest 110m hurdle time in Kansas state high school track & field history Friday, May 1 at the Seaman Relays. Shinji also improved his 300 hurdle school record time, running a 37.51. Congratulations on a huge accomplishment!

Anneliese Lockwood broke the 18 year old 400m dash school record Friday, May 1 at the Seaman Relays. Anneliese ran a 58.61 to become the new school record holder and won the event. Congratulations Anneliese!

Quinn Hanson broke the 1600m run school record Friday, May 1 at the Seaman Relays. Quinn ran a 4:23.23 improving the record by 4 seconds. Great work Quinn!

Elizabeth Arenas lowered her own school record in the 800m run at the Seaman Relays. Elizabeth’s new school record time is 2:15.37. Keep up the good work.

Nora Turney keeps moving her own school record down with a new time of 14.31. Congratulations on the continued success!

Max Clark continues to improve his javelin school record with a new PR of 213’07”. Great job Max!

We had another great showing at another very large meet. Over 25 schools competed at Seaman relays Friday, May 1. The girls team placed third overall and the boys team tied for first with Olathe North. Seven school records were broken at this meet and numerous athletes PR’d.
