Pirbright Church

Sorry - the Gladiator is coming to the next Church on the Green on November 23rd - not October - hope you can join us then!

At 9am on Sunday there is the Parish Dash of 5k or 2.5k (or walk round the Green), and at 10am there us Church on the Green with Ex-Gladiator Warren Furman! Children are welcome to get dressed up. Remember the clocks go back tonight!

Our two lovely curates are now ordained as priests! Thanks to Bishops Andrew and Paul, and the training and guidance provided by our wonderful Vicar George. Congratulations Alex and Joanna!

And do bring your children to the Family Nature Day tomorrow from 12noon - 4pm in the Pirbright churchyard. Lots of fun things to do and find and make, right next to the cream teas, the plant sale, and the place to buy tickets for the Open Gardens!

On Sunday there will be 3 services at St Michaels, do join us! 8.00am - Said Communion in the church room (9.00am - Coffee, tea & croissants) 9:30am - Contemporary Service in church with kids' group 5.00pm - Taize Service in the Lady Chapel - a thoughtful musical service

Do join us for our Mothering Sunday service at 0930 on 30th March - remember the hour goes forward tonight! Everyone is welcome - children are very welcome of course and there will be lovely posies to give to parents/ grandparents/ carers..

Do join us on Sunday - at 0930 Communion at St Michaels - everyone welcome! And at 6pm at St Marks we will have a Taize service, a short, relaxed and thoughtful musical service with readings and prayers, all are welcome here too!

We do hope you can come and join us at this very relaxed service where children can have fun and learn about Jesus, and we can all hear about God's greatest gift, as we get closer to Christmas.  Plus great music, and tea, coffee, cakes, and a bouncy castle!

Do come along to Church on the Green and the Light Party on Sunday afternoon! An informal service, great for kids, and everyone is welcome. Remember the clocks change on Saturday night - the time goes back an hour!

Do join us at St Michaels on Sunday at 9.30am - for Children's church and Communion - alternatively there is a great service at St Marks at 11.15am with the visiting Viborg Choir, and a bring and share lunch! The Choir is also singing in various other illustrious places...
