@BradleyPoo65775 @gamecock33322 @hetolson @SpencerRattler I coach football now at the D1 level! I've coached many many years and have known spencer for a long time...lots of people can throw a football but not all have the brain to play the position. Spencer doesn't have it between the ears.

Caleb Williams did, and he absolutely made OU better at the time. That, and only that, was my point.

I’ll go far to say Caleb Williams is the best QB prospect I’ve watched since I began covering college football.
I don’t care about the nails or the crying after a game or whatever nonsense narrative that furthers your distaste for him. There are throws and plays he makes every Saturday that many starting NFL QB’s couldn’t ever dream of making.

@SpeakIven Spencer Rattler may be the only one who doesn’t get drafted high but Spencer may be the most talented of all of them. Spencer, imo, lacked the composure between the ears that the others had. But throw for throw you’ll see during the combine Rattler was still that dude.

@MattWaldman Receiver needed to come back for that ball. He didn't even compete for it. Which was a big problem this season for the SC offense. Play also at the end of the game and they are trying to make a play. Did you watch the rest of the game?

@firstroundmock Obviously TDs aren’t an end-all be-all stat but what concerns me is Spencer Rattler played five years (four full seasons) and had 77 touchdowns to 32 interceptions. Too many red flags for me to put him in the conversation with anyone but Joe Milton III

I talk about Caleb Williams a lot, but I do think Drake Maye also has a good chance of becoming a star in the NFL. He’s a lot more crafty as a pocket passer than I think people realize. His IQ combined with his arm strength could be something special.
