@rotoace I think he values a championship more than a cy young. And that’s really why I wouldn’t pick him. He’s got Cy Young stuff but I personally don’t know if he’ll get enough innings, especially with their depth of pitching. I hope he does!

@EInsides Nope because a hitter gives up on it as looking like a heater well above the zone. So they freeze. By the time you read curveball it's too late to do anything about it. It's a freeze pitch.

@PitchingNinja The hump on the curve should be noticeable to hitters, no? Tunnel doesn't look great between those 2 to my layman's eyes.

@uncleJunior32 LOL. Shohei struck out 10 batters and hit 3 hrs in a single postseason game and was on base 9 times in 9 plate appearances in a World Series game (with 2 hrs and 2 doubles), Both happened in the same postseason, Educate yourself. You’re either a hater or don’t know ball.

@PitchingNinja He’s a designated hitter he strikes out a ton. He doesn’t play the field. He never pitches more than 5 innings. Contrast that with Bob Gibson who threw 30 complete games a year once had a 1.12 era and homered in the World Series. Educate yourself recency bias sucks

I’ll just say that I think Shohei’s day is a little busier than yours. And he just might have people that he trusts to manage his business affairs. You’ve clearly never dealt with ultra rich clients. You really think billionaires get text messages every time there’s a withdrawal from their account and don’t have people handle the bulk of their finances? Lol. He’s far from the only person in the entertainment field to be ripped off by someone he trusts.
