Repertoire will include, but is not limited to, marches, patriotic fare, wind band standards, and "pops" arrangements More information and an official sign up will come sometime in May, but for now, save the date on your calendar, and we hope to have you on campus this summer!

We are very excited to announce a new venture coming from the Pitt Band program: the University of Pittsburgh Summer Concert Band! This new ensemble will be open to Pitt students, alumni, and faculty/staff members. If space allows, we hope to even open it up to community members

Exciting news! In one month, we will be holding our first ever Spring Festival of Bands! We are excited to host not one, but TWO guest ensembles: the Franklin Regional HS Wind Ensemble and the Allegheny Brass Band! We hope to see you on April 14th for a great night of music!

With our students on Spring Break, both our directors kept themselves busy! Yesterday, Mr. Buckstein was at the Burrell School District, working with their MS/HS bands. Today, the band from Hatboro-Horsham band came to campus and participated in a clinic with Dr. Townsend.
