Congratulations to Prof. Hiroyuki Isobe of the University of Tokyo for being selected as the ISNA-21 Nozoe Lecturer, the preeminent lecture that starts every ISNA meeting (since 1998). A well-deserved honor! Join us in August 2026.

Three of our scariest fellows are currently participating in the ESOC 2025 in Copenaghen! Beautiful city, chemistry and people. If you're around there, don't be shy and say hi to them!

At the European Symposium on Organic Chemistry in Copenhagen (sign up here: esoc2025.com) chirality and aromaticity will be front and centre. Some our star speakers on this are Wegner, Szumna, Campana, Besser, Chi, Burton and Isobe.

Good to be briefly back (home) in Cambridge and see the chemistry department, St John’s College and Fort St George (among other favourite places)

@NMRspectroscopy but, surely, in your spectrum, the coupling constant between e.g. the two triazole-protons should be identical (either 0.9 or 1.0 Hz)? Similar argument in the alkyl chain.
