Come to Copenhagen for esoc2025.com - the conference starts Sunday June 29th...that is in a week! There is still time to sign up (lnkd.in/dh8FBJY7)! The first afternoon Morten Meldal and Eric Jacobsen (lnkd.in/djGy2Syw ) will speak!

English

Sign up for the European Symposium on Organic Chemistry in Copenhagen. 'Early bird' registation ends on April 11th. esoc2025.com. Prominent speakers include our local 'click-chemistry' expert Professor Morten Meldal (researchprofiles.ku.dk/en/persons/m...).
English

At the European Symposium on Organic Chemistry in Copenhagen (sign up here: esoc2025.com) chirality and aromaticity will be front and centre. Some our star speakers on this are Wegner, Szumna, Campana, Besser, Chi, Burton and Isobe.
English

Please encourage your students and colleagues to come to esoc2025.com in Copenhagen. Professor Eric Jacobsen (jacobsengroup.sites.fas.harvard.edu) is one of our plenary speakers, and he will deliver the Patai-Rappoport lecture esoc2025.com/programme/pata…!

@LindorffLarsen @jerelleaj Is Tom still running this fine place?

@NMRspectroscopy no worries...I really do like the problems!
English

@PittelkowLab It happens. For example when one coupling is measured as 0,94 and the other as 0,95. By the way this spectrum was recorded almost 10 years ago on not very good probe. So sorry

It’s #NMRweekend ⁉️🧲. Drop your answers in the comments section 👌 or use the poll below 😊.

English

@NMRspectroscopy but, surely, in your spectrum, the coupling constant between e.g. the two triazole-protons should be identical (either 0.9 or 1.0 Hz)? Similar argument in the alkyl chain.
English

@PittelkowLab Don’t see any problems with that. Coupling constant depends on solvent, temperature, pH etc. just like for example rate constant of chemical reaction.
