Good to see the people that actually got orders for the NVIDIA 5090 are using them... oh wait... the scalpers always win...

@GSmithPhotog It doesn't surprise me honestly. Remember trying to buy a laptop from Scan. They confirmed the order, took my money, sent me a tracking number (!), then said it was out of stock! What was the tracking number for? Absolutely no idea!

@PixelElliott i got in stock and even went linked to scan scan says out of stocck. ? odd how they can be out of stock if it wa sin stock at nvidia and scan are the distributors. ??? very odd

Didn't even see an "Add to basket" button for the Nvidia RTX 5090 or 5080 in the UK. Went straight from "Coming Soon" to "Out of Stock"...

@schmutz06 Yeah, I saw this for a split second. Tried clicking pre-order but got an error message.

@PixelElliott RTX 5090 UK - for reference, during a brief window between 1402-1405 scan.co.uk had a number of third party 5090s available, with prices £2099+ I connected to scan chat, they confirmed sold out.

@drunpleasant Congrats on managing to grab one! Tried on Curry's as well, but out of stock sadly.

@PixelElliott Yup - had *coming soon* then site crashed then out of stock. Not even a flicker of seeing any in stock. Did get one from Curry's though - or at least the order is confirmed. Costco have prebuilds in stock apparently.

@PixelElliott I'm sure this also happened with an older release where the FE cards were actually sold via nvidia a few days later 🤦‍♂️

@ElonBaldMusk I had that, but incognito mode, different browsers, or different devices, seem to be able to get through sometimes.

@TheCarteI Just an absolutely terrible launch. The only card I've actually been successful in getting at launch was my current GPU... GTX 1080ti hahaha

@PixelElliott if you could even get the page to load that's all it did. I'm not buying bots bought it, how's got a bot that knows where all the buttons are on a site that isn't even live and is linked to a work card and delivery address for Scan?! It's very odd.

@schmutz06 Me trying to balance a laptop, my computer, and my phone all at the same time for no reason haha. And yeah, I saw that some stores at less than 10 units total...

@PixelElliott same. Had multiple devices and connections and achieved nothing in the last 30 mins. I wasn't counting on it to be honest, supplies seemed awful.
