@Coilshotyaoi It was just poorly executed in general I get where they were going with the shadow plants because they’re OP as shit, cheap, comes in a variety of areas and needs etc. Also THEY DON’T NEED AQUA VINE ON EVERY TILE TO FUNCTION

@PixelsIDKOk I'd argue this whole Aqua plants thing is similar to Blaze Alter and Yu synergy but in this case, both of them desperately need each other or you should shoot your foot 😭

@Coilshotyaoi I think the synergy concept itself is not bad in planning but it has to be good by itself first because if it needs something else to be actually viable then it isn’t a good plant in the first place.

@PixelsIDKOk They're essentially useless without water tiles and Aqua Vines, unlike Threepeater who's still okay to use even without PeaVine

@Coilshotyaoi Definitely, even with other synergies they have a good reason to exist like shadow plants and pea vine or even the mints plus ice shroom but if you’re using ice shroom you aren’t using it to boost your winter mint plants tbh. Aqua vine is there to put aquatic plants on land…

@PixelsIDKOk This "synergy" isn't even comfortable in the first place For one you need a fuck ton of sun for it (even tho enlightenmint and sunshroom exists, or if you wanna be different, Moonflower, exists) it's still a problem plus they NEED each other

@Coilshotyaoi I’d say most of the newer aquatic plants they added don’t make the most sense and if you need a plant like aqua vine just to make them work with a “synergy” it’s unnecessary and bad thing in the first place(I love aqua vine though plus have a soft spot for seashroom)

@Coilshotyaoi Boomberry feels funny to use because of its uniqueness but this doesn’t contribute much or do something that makes it feel interesting…
