Your post is incorrect - It is not "hidden", it's widely reported on - It does not confirm the accounts of Tapia etc, the excavated Tzompantli held many times less skulls then what they said - However, it held MORE skulls then what you claim, you are undercounting the skulls, ironically, and you also misrepresent what the Tzompantli is and how it is shaped -------- To clarify, the circular tower is only PART of the Huey Tzompantli complex: The full structure complex included two towers, as well as a rack, all on a raised platform. See the attached image. You say the Tzompantli held "more then 600" skulls, but this ~600 skull total is actually just a portion of the skulls excavated from one of the two towers, at least as far as I can tell (though a friend of mine alternatively understood ~600 skull total to be the total amount of skulls contained in one of the two towers). In any case, it is almost certainly NOT the total amount of skulls the entire structure complex contained, which held much more. To demonstrate this, we can plug in the dimensions of the rack as reported in media articles (roughly 36x14x5m, as seen in the attached image, though the exact dimensions vary slightly from article to article) into the tables in this: researchgate.net/publication/22… paper, which calculates the amount of skulls per cubic meter racks of different sizes can hold If you run that math, it comes out to 13,000 to 24,000 skulls, based on a few variables, but if you narrow it down by also factoring in the rack having a 25cm posthole every 80cm, as reported in this paper: static1.squarespace.com/static/6148cc8… , then that comes out to around ~16,000 skulls However, there are still some points of ambiguity: Obviously there is a margin of error still, and this does not include the skull totals from the twin towers. It is also unclear (at least as I recall) if the dimensions we have for the Tzompantli is for just the "rack", or the entire Tzompantli "platform": If it is for the platform, then only a smaller subset of that area would be used to hold skulls, so the amount of skulls would be lower, if so. On the other hand, some media reports seem to list the ~5m height of the rack as merely being the minimum height , and if so then obviously the amount of skulls the rack can hold would be larger. HOWEVER, even if the whole Huey Tzompantli complex holds, say, 20,000+ skulls (16,000 for the rack and a few thousand more for the towers, though that number is my speculation), that is still MUCH smaller then what Spanish accounts claim it held! Diego Duran claimed that ~80,000 people were sacrificed in the 1487 reconceretion of the Great Temple, and had their remains used to build the new Huey Tzompantli, and that this was preformed as part of Ahuizotl's rise to the position of emperor (and indeed, many of the deposits to the Huey Tzompantli are dated to Ahuizotl's reign) Of course, ~20,000 skulls is only 1/4 that size. So clearly, Duran's numbers are inflated and inaccurate. Andres de Tapia claims even more exaggerated numbers, his account claims the rack held 136,000 skulls! ----- If you want to see more posts of mine about Mesoamerican history and archeology, I have a large directory of my posts here: x.com/Majora__Z/stat…

You didn’t design shit. This is an off the shelf rebrand of a device made by Wingtech called the Revvl 7Pro 5G and was available at T-Mobile for $0. The 7Pro has been replaced by the 8Pro because this thing is over 18 months old. And this is old stock that they bought to avoid a lawsuit.

A work by Louis-Nicolas de Lespinasse depicting the Trianon illuminated at night, 1784. The work is likely depicting the visit of Gustav III, which was marked by a massive celebration at the Trianon.

Christopher Nolan is defending the historical accuracy of the armor in #TheOdyssey: “There are Mycenaean daggers that are blackened bronze. The theory is they probably could have blackened bronze in those days. You take bronze, you add more gold and silver to it and then use sulfur… With Agamemnon, Ellen [Mirojnick], our costume designer, is trying to communicate how elevated he is relative to everyone else. You do that through materials that would be very expensive.” (via Time) wp.me/pc8uak-1lHg5Q
