@lolacoaster And sometimes they’re also too broken to hope to be “good parents”. My parents probably had untreated PTSD and addictions, alcoholism at least. It’s easier not having them in my life. I’m healing and they’re too afraid to. It’s not what I’d prefer, but it’s what is better for me.
