@PizzaDad23 @jeffersonation1 So you think Obama should have been stopped from making DACA? (I'd agree, but...) And from the Libya conflict? (I'd also agree, but...)

People like Dershowitz and Levin are fully MAGA now. If they can play that game and swap allegiances, we can do it too. Real constitutional conservatives and libertarians have no home left here. Vote Democrat, let MAGA face the consequences and be hopefully completely destroyed by the left.

@SubduedRadical @jeffersonation1 They are absolutely supposed to be styimed when doing most things that what our entire checks and balances system is built on, if the President actually had the power to make such Unilateral changes we would simply call him an elected monarch.

Tell me, how long is it going to be "in process" before passing? The Senate GOP Establishment RINOs are literally willing to lose Cornyn to NOT pass the SAVE act. If they passed it, he would have gotten Trump's endorsement, Paxton dropped out of the Runoff, and his seat would be safe. The GOPEst would rather lose one of their key generals than pass the SAVE act. It's not passing, bro. You're suffering from TDS and have lost the ability for rational thought. It's why me pointing out facts to you, you instead interpret as me being in "his mindset" instead of the reality: You're wrong. Presidents have a lot of power - "I have a pen and a phone." -President Obama - but not infinite. They aren't supposed to be stymied when not doing illegal things.

Except Gen Z takes every criticism as contempt. Tell them to stop spending $50/day on DoorDash and suddenly you’re “out of touch,” “bootstrapping,” or “ignoring systemic issues.” At some point adults need to hear unpleasant truths without needing them packaged as therapy.
Sneed Oil Salesman@namente9715

@RefinedPopulist It is actually sad when the messangers are usually people treating them with utter contempt. Because it is correct. There is no effort to make it manifest through persuasion. It is just their own cope to justify their contempt

Oh? So the SAVE Act is law? Oh, wait, prevented. Well, surely Trump's making recess appointments? Nope, the GOP Senate is gaveling in every few days to explicitly prevent that. Well, Trump's got the border wall funded, right? Nope, shot down, too. Uh, maybe Trump is deporting a lot? Nope, Congress started holding hearings, grinding that to a halt. Well, okay, so he's got the war in Iran? Only for the moment: Congress is voting against it with more support with each passing day. They're also voting against the IRS thing (though that Trump is in the right on). You're the one that seems to live in a different reality.

Trump will be the first president since W. in 2002 to keep majorities in the House and Senate in the midterms, and it will be majorities that vote his way. He is now over 95% on his primary endorsements. I love Massie, he would have been an excellent head of the Dept of Agriculture. I encouraged them both on several occasions to end the fued. Even though he was right on nearly every vote, being a team player mattered more.

@SubduedRadical @jeffersonation1 nobody is preventing trump from doing anything but I understand you live in a different reality. Was trump prevented from enacting 4 months of tariffs deemed illegal? Was trump prevented from starting this war with Iran? Has trump been prevented from self settling with the IRS?

Oh, Democrats are terrible. Trump's lousy. He'll be out office in 3 years and has the entire GOP Establishment already preventing him from doing anything, even if we ignore the Democrats. Only President in modern history prevented from even making recess appointments. Even McConnell would have allowed that so he'd have more conservative judges. There's nothing hypothetical about the Democrat boogieman. AIPAC is nothing compared to the Democrats. The latter is far more destructive to the nation. Democrats are like if a person is shot and has a massive chest wound, bleeding out with a punctured lung, and AIPAC is the ankle they twisted while falling to the ground. I'm here worried about the bleeding and deflating lung, and you're here telling me the twisted ankle should be my primary, and perhaps only, concern, and that lungs are imaginary.

@PizzaDad23 @groypermendel @JamesLightweis @Robin_Hood1555 He started an actual war, between Russia and Ukraine which has killed 1.5 million people. Trump is ending the war that Iran started against us back in 1979... with extremely low casualties. "those times" were far worse. The left let in millions of illegals every year.

@PizzaDad23 @BowTiedRanger I think the 2nd amendment is for free European Christians in good standing exactly like the founders. If you support the govt stopping us from dealing with crime and dismantling self defense (which Massie does) you are much more out of alignment with 2a than me.

I want to like Thomas Massie. I really do. Especially as all the Jews on here gloat about beating him tonight. But he straight up sucks. No aura. Obsessed with budget clocks. Unlimited immigration in the name of GDP growth. And he has the most insufferable supporters imaginable.

@CodeWatchman @uTobian Principles and Republicans gotta be the biggest oxymoron I've ever seen, party of protecting the kids elected a convicted rapist and Epstein client. Touted as "the president of peace" yet started an illegal war of aggression. I understand though just keep eating the AIPAC media.

The thing about the Massie defeat is, Democrats are too vaccine injured to be a viable opposition party. So the only chance for keeping the D.C. crowd in check was principled voices from within the Republican Party. And now that's gone. So.
