Patrick - I served as an analyst and expert witness in the Long County, Georgia case that triggered our double voting scandal back in 2020. Those voters appeared in the early/absentee data and then again on the numbered list of voters from Election Day. But here’s the key part: when I checked the SOS vote history trailers, they were awarded credit for voting only ONCE. Here’s the super suspicious part: Today, if you compare an original 2020 absentee voter file with a more recent one, you will see that the state altered the “status reason” data for about 220,000 ballots that the counties had received back from voters and then marked “cancelled.” The vast majority of those voters then cast ballots in person. Here’s the issue there - the counties were opening and scanning ballots up to three weeks before the election, and I am unaware of any way to cancel a ballot that has been separated from its envelope and run through a tabulator. Also - Raffensperger held a press conference and threatened to prosecute over 1,000 of the double voters, which astounds me because I believe most of them had no idea they did it. After that, the ACLU, which I am told had direct access to Fulton County’s E-Net system during that election, then pledged to defend those voters. Well isn’t THAT interesting? Fulton also had the most double voters according to the Secretary of State’s office. Raffensperger backed down, and later claimed the double votes were mostly “clerical errors”, but I think the real reason he did that was probably because he knew the ACLU would probably be able to prove he caused that entire mess himself.
