“I have a foreboding of an America in my children's or grandchildren's time -- when the United States is a service and information economy; when nearly all the manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries; when awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues; when the people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority; when, clutching our crystals and nervously consulting our horoscopes, our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what's true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition and darkness... The dumbing down of America is most evident in the slow decay of substantive content in the enormously influential media, the 30 second sound bites (now down to 10 seconds or less), lowest common denominator programming, credulous presentations on pseudoscience and superstition, but especially a kind of celebration of ignorance.” - Carl Sagan, The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark, 1995

The statute itself permits a complaint to be amended. So if we can’t get that window changed to at least 10 days or two full weeks (some states allow even longer) then we need to normalize the filing of placeholder complaints. We could even have a fill in the blank complaint candidates can download on line, along with another for dismissing them if there’s no “there” there. If that starts happening often enough that will add to the calls to extend that window.

Wow @MarkDavisGOP. Georgia NEEDS you to understand that Tim Fleming was "placed" in his seat unlawfully. The People did not vote for him. He did not garner the votes recorded. He is a Kemp man thru and thru. It is OBVIOUS. It was a stunning cheat. Why would you ask people to vote for an imposter? Really can't believe you just wrote an article basically endorsing him 🙄

@mad_liberals @pizzachop94 @theGAnerds_Real Unless a candidate wants to file a placeholder complaint that can later be dismissed or amended. A candidate in Georgia has only a 5 day window from certification to file a complaint. That is just too short.

There you go again. As the world’s foremost expert on what Mark Davis thinks, I can assure you that I am perfectly capable of speaking for myself. I do not need you trying to put your words into my mouth. Do you or do you not have actual evidence that the maps already exist and are being withheld from you, or is that speculation?

Mark, do you in fact, think it’s important for voters to be able to see the maps with enough time to analyze them before their lawmakers start voting on them? If you don’t, you should just say that. If you do think it’s important for those affected to weigh in, and you think it will still take 3 to 4 weeks to draw those maps and be ready to show them, that’s an argument in favor of not having the special session in such a rushed timeframe. You can’t have it both ways. Have a good rest of your week.

Gov Kemp has called yet another special session to redraw GA’s electoral maps, for the third time since 2021. Most likely this session will be brutally fast, maybe spanning only 1.5 weeks. What this means is: the GOP has the maps already. So why won’t they let voters see them?

You’re probably not going to be voting on them for at least another three or four weeks. If you have actual evidence that the maps already exist and are being withheld from you I might have some sympathy, but all I’m hearing from you is speculation, word games, and straw man arguments.

If you agree it feels rushed and that people might require “more patience” before the maps are ready, why not push the special session back? Recognize that there’s no reason we have to do this so soon, and if we pushed it back we’d have all the time we need to share and analyze the maps. Unless that’s not the real intention here.

I didn’t say that was my opinion, or a prediction of what they’re going to do. I said “I wouldn’t be surprised if we just return to the maps we had before” because I have heard that idea being discussed. You then asked “why not share that with voters”, and I gave you the link where it can already be found. The decision in Louisiana v. Callais came out on April 29th. 14 days (9 workdays) later the special session was announced on May 13, which was just 12 days (7 workdays) ago. If you’re correct and our 291,086 census blocks are being used to build all new districts, perhaps a little more patience might be in order?

Mark, is that what the Republicans have shared with voters? Have they in fact shared anything with voters when it comes to proposed new maps? Because no offense, while you have your opinion (and we can loop back in a few weeks to see if that pans out—I strongly suspect not, because at this point they’ll lose at least one of their guys that way), it’s what those actually in the legislature put forth that counts.

I was supposed to serve as an expert witness in Trump v. Raffensperger if it had gone to trial. I would have testified about the systemic irregularities that occur in all of our elections. As you may know, I didn’t get the opportunity to do that because the hearing date was set for a couple of days after January 6, the case became moot, and it was dismissed. But I was able to offer testimony on those issues before the Blue Ribbon Study Committee, led by its Chairman Tim Fleming, and his Vice Chairman Victor Anderson. If you watch this video, please be aware that I made a mistake I later corrected with the committee. When I got to the part about the DOJ I accidentally said I offered them 97 records instead of 97 thousand records. I have also discussed these issues with Burt Jones and Rick Jackson. I was glad to hear them both agree that they are not partisan issues, and must be resolved. I have had legislation to do that in the General Assembly for two sessions now. Hopefully with new leadership in place we can finally make that happen. youtu.be/Z32lT2ET24M?si…

Hate to tell you this, but neither Tim nor Vernon will be interested in exposing the fundamentals behind the outcome of 2020. It appears that the selection process for cabdidates AND outcomes were well thought out in advance. However- if Jackson gets in… well that’s a whole new ball game and I’m up for it.

I am all for investigating those to find out what happened. I am all for asking @mad_liberals to take a look at the ballots. And if there is a legitimate claim that should be filed, I'm all for that too. I might even help with it if asked. One of the main reasons I work in election cases is because it is often easier to prove election integrity issues in a court of law than it is in the court of public opinion. That said, if there are legitimate issues, but not enough to prove the outcome of an election was placed in doubt, then a State Election Board compliant would be the appropriate way to go, would it not? What I'm generally not down with, and try to avoid, is jumping to conclusions or making claims I cannot prove. That would undermine my credibility and would also be harmful to the election integrity movement. I will add this: If I ever get a chance to get involved with our next Secretary of State, whether that be Tim or Vernon, and find myself in a position to help investigate these kinds of issues from the inside, I will also promise you that I will make the best of it. I absolutely understand how frustrating it is to sit there looking at data that makes no sense and leads to speculation about what is really causing it.

Ask him why such a sorry report on the BRC?

@CScottEllard tells me the proper term for describing registrations that float on and off the rolls is "flapping", and yes, I think you have both proven that is a very legitimate issue. You may want to speak with him sometime. He's got quite a resume, some serious computing power, and is determined to either get to the bottom of it, or at least help to document it.

I had the same reaction. A lot of people did. There are three reasons: 1. He had a lot of support from his fellow legislators, and obtained endorsements from county sheriffs. 2. He got a lot of press all over the state when the Blue Ribbon hearings were held. 3. His campaign consultants did a very effective job of targeting and spent the money he raised effectively and efficiently. What they did is what I would have done if I had been involved.

#3 can be accomplished with simple CASS certification (USPS Coding Accuracy Support System) and DVP (Delivery Point Validation) software before a ballot destined for one of those problematic addresses ever even goes out. That software can be obtained for less than 5 grand per year. I have been using it for decades. Any SOS in the country could easily be running it - in house. Under Georgia law, an improperly registered voter is an unqualified voter. We are supposed to be registered where we actually live, and in the correct county and precinct where that address is located. One of the best quotes I ever heard from an election lawyer came from Jake Evans, who made this statement in a case we once had together: “It is impossible to disenfranchise an unqualified voter.”

4 HIDDEN GOP MIDTERM ASSETS "If the elections for Congress were held today, would you vote for the Democratic candidate or for the Republican candidate?" Our latest so-called 'Generic Ballot' poll results are in and will be released tomorrow. But they will almost certainly be non-predictive in November. Our readers know legacy media is feverishly suppressing all kinds of devastating scandals while conjuring others up out of thin of air. The Trump Administration holds the bully pulpit and it has yet to unload in a way that legacy media can't continue their coverup. Public opinion and polls WILL be impacted. Here are 4 examples of hidden GOP assets - 1 - A few weeks ago we demonstrated the power of informing voters that foreign adversaries have likely secretly chosen certain elected officials for over a dozen years. Trump is holding all the high explosive stuff back for the Florida Grand Conspiracy indictments, soon to arrive. Legacy media is prohibited from covering this issue at all much less honestly and that tells you how worried they are. 2 - A few weeks ago Democrats lost their racial redistricting advantage and soon may very well lose a key post-election day ballot stuffing trick (The Watson Case at SCOTUS) that would limit the counting of mail-in-ballots to only those received at the election offices by the day of the election. 3 - The US Post Office can make its own Federal rules about Federal election ballot deliveries to Federally identified CITIZENS ONLY. Lawfare, Inc. is completely crazed and attacking but the Fed's and the USPS will win and those key unsolicited mass-mailed ballots to empty lots, non-citizens and PO boxes will be stopped. 4 - The Iran War will be ended as an election issue and gas prices will free-fall. So - as @MizDonna69 notes below - even if the SAVE ACT had been embraced by 75-85% of ALL Senate voting members (as the public polling indicates it should be) Lawfare, Inc was likely going to game it to death for this year anyway. But @POTUS has backup plans like any good master deal-maker always does. 👇
MizDonna@MizDonna69

I live in reality. But for a moment, let's imagine that we live in GOP Utopiaville. We have 51 votes in the Senate to pass the Save America Act in April/May of 2026. The DAY after the Save America Act is signed into law, Marc Elias and Norm Eisen run to a Dem District judge to block it as "Unconstitutional" Of course, their chosen judge grants the request and issues a Ruling. There may be multiple challenges in different courts. Then it is appealed to the Circuit courts. Maybe multiple courts. If you are lucky with different interpretations. Then it can go to SCOTUS to be argued in the fall. Early voting begins in September. Scotus would have NEVER ruled on this before the Midterms. We are still awaiting rulings from the fall session from last year. Why is this so difficult to understand? What can we do? Change the math in the Senate to get to that 51 vote threshold next year. We need a better Senate. Letlow>Cassidy Barr>Mitch Paxton>Cornyn Whatley>Tillis Rogers>Peters (Dem) Collins>Ossoff (Dem) Hinson>Ernst Tafoya>than any Dem in MN And yes Even Sununu >Shaheen (Dem) There is your 51 to get to the Save America Act enacted by 2028. And if we do this, we can be at 60 in 2028.

If Vernon is our nominee I will not only give him my vote, I will also enthusiastically campaign for him. And if he wins the general, and he wants my help when he goes into the office, he will get that too. All I am asking is for people to be very intentional about their vote. Any way you slice it, this particular race is going to be very consequential.

I subscribe to the old “Buckley rule”, which is to vote for the most conservative candidate who can actually win. If you believe there is enough of a difference between Fleming and Jones to risk losing to a Democrat in the general election, then by all means, give him your vote. All I ask is that you do it with the full knowledge of all they’re going to hit him with in November.

@WeThePeopleSEGA @theGAnerds_Real Well, if we assume for the sake of argument that he actually is “Kemp’s candidate”, didn’t that candidate just win a plurality, nearly 40% of the vote, in a five man primary?

@T0daysTomSawyer @theGAnerds_Real My primary concern is keeping that office out of Democrat hands, and in my opinion, nominating Jones makes that more of a threat than nominating Fleming. If you think that is a “terrible look”, I am sorry you feel that way, but you are perfectly entitled to that opinion.

No, we don’t know what the new maps will be. Thank you for admitting that. It helps to explain why they haven’t yet been released, does it not? You asked “if that’s the version you feel confident they’d are reverting to, why not share that with voters?” Well, isn’t that exactly what I just did? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thank you for your attention to this matter.

@theGAnerds_Real @MarkDavisGOP Given all we know about Dominion, I don't know how we have confidence in any outcome which isn't verified with hand recount (not rescan) of readable text on paper ballots. The 2022 DeKalb debacle proved it. So many on our side refuse to believe it.
