@PkKiganda, let us first establish something clearly. Did that protocol car have the right of way? If it did, then the law is very clear on how such situations should be handled. Before labeling security operatives as hooligans, it is important to do due diligence. Sometimes Ugandans only come to understand these matters the hard way.

Mr Byamukama, I quick one, are the roads worthy our cars? Or we just saying cars should be road worthy yet the roads are the real dangers to our cars. This initiative is good but it should come after all roads have been made worthy of the cars.

Only mechanically sound vehicles will be allowed on our roads. Bus operators have 60 days (8 Apr–8 Jun 2026) to present vehicles for inspection & roadworthiness certification. A decisive step to cut crashes caused by unsafe vehicles. @MoWT_Uganda
