@madaznfootballr You were saying that level 2 was lagging and couldn’t keep with order flow. My quotes on level 2 just kinda buffer, doesn’t flow in smooth. i can’t seem to find a fix and saw you tweeted a while back

P/L: +$11K🔥Responded to the 2 red days with back to back #FiveFigureClub days! Moderate wins that added up. $AIIO longs on the break over 5 was the biggest winner. Could have had more but piked. $QUCY had good reads on this both sides vs daily levels. $MOBX nice short vs 4. $TDIC totally botched this one. Took the first short vs 25 but didn't take the 2nd or 3rd which resulted in the massive dump and kept trying to fill on the way down but could never get in with the halts and SSR. What a miss oh well. $HCTI $LESL wallet padders. $HCTI $HCWB AH wallet padders. $YOOV

This is absolutely insane. A Chinese microcap stock $WOK went from lows of $0.19 to as high as $11.90 for an over 6,000% gain within two days. And then in a matter of hours it dropped down to $1.00.

Dubai's been getting absolutely battered lately. Influencers, war, no soul, all flash no substance, the lot. I understand it. Place isn't perfect. But let me give you my take after 9 years here. I landed in my late 20s. 12 years grinding in UK and Ireland investment banking. Steady job. Steady salary. Two kids. Family income solidly median. Zero real career runway past middle management because the people above me were never moving and the ladder was full. I took a shot and rocked up to Dubai thinking my "polished" banking pedigree would have people lining up. Spoiler: nobody gave a fuck. In fact a few of them found my CV genuinely boring. "Welcome to the Gulf". they said sarcastically.... I figured out fast that this place doesn't reward your past in anyway. It rewards balls. Action. Unapologetic ambition. The polished guy waiting his turn gets eaten alive by the kid who walked in with no permission and acted like he belonged. So I took a wild shot. One of the local families was breaking off to set up a single family office (3rd generation wealth). I got a lunch with the principal. Didn't even know who he was when I sat down, that's how fresh I was. Started building the relationship from scratch. Gave him my actual thoughts. No yes man bullshit. Told him hard truths about his portfolio, his thinking, alternative markets, where I thought he was wrong. No filter. Looking back, I think that's exactly why he kept me around. Nobody talked to him like that because of who he was. The lack of respect was the value. Ended up senior director at his family office. Deploying millions into gaming, liquid crypto, equity across Web3 and gaming startups, regionally and globally. Built a name. Got access to Gulf CEOs, chairmen, the rooms where decisions get made across the GCC. Built a gaming company on the side, brought the biggest gaming festival ever held in Dubai at the time, exited it. Doubled down on crypto when the regional regulation started getting real and I could feel the appetite shifting. Joined Varys Capital led by the main man to expand their fund to the region. Brought family office capital into the fund. Crushed it. Now being run by awesome operators like @dunleavy89 . Then got the call to start @HashgraphVC , launch an early stage crypto fund out of Abu Dhabi. First close, 52 million dollars, straight off the bat. Stellar team. Our own spin. Building a brand from day one. Summary. Dubai and the UAE handed me opportunities I genuinely couldn't have dreamed about back home. Network that is honestly surreal. Career and wealth compressed into a timeline that wouldn't have been possible anywhere else. Position of leadership. A family here. Daughters being raised here. A wife I get to treat like a queen on the daily. Has the war thrown a spanner in the works? Of course it has. Anyone telling you otherwise is talking shit. But this region has come back stronger from every single one of these moments and its my personal beliefnit will do it again. We'll be at the front of the next wave. I'm not a genius in anyway but I did have the balls to take my shot and take risks, particularly with a young family in tow, kept my mouth honest when other people were biting their tongues, and got lucky along the way.

P/L: -$4.6K👎 Red. A second waste of day in a row where I was up Five Figs (+$11.1K) and fucked it up late in the day. Was up nicely shorting $AKAN backside pops mainly then left for #TraderNap and got woken up by scanner spamming $SKLZ and then a calamity of errors ensued. Traded it dazed and with the wrong chart on TOS and got REKT on it short even with small size then flip for a blow up -$13K loss then flipped long too early and fucked up the bottom add in the 9s after leaving a sell order in before the halt which led to a "no cross trading" when I tried to buy. It proceed to sell my long at the bottom for another blow up -$10K loss while missing the entry for a double whammy. At that point it was just damage control and did what I could to get it down. Then AH had a golden chance on $INTC #earnings to make it back on the all time high break and totally botched it with a poor entry and piked it when it moved. Overall, just sloppy ill-advised trading. Should have just stayed in bed. Very lucky that the loss is recoverable. $AUUD $CAR $CPIX $MWYN $PMEC wallet padders. $AIXI $ITOC AH wallet padders.

Anyone paying attention to these two clowns or trying to get mentorship to learn trading from anyone, ask yourself…. Would LeBron James at the height of his career making millions of dollars ever stop playing basketball to mentor and teach other people. FUCK NO. The true greats play until the absolute end. They live for the game.

THE "CONSISTENTLY PROFITABLE" SKILL GAP & THE MYTH OF SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME FROM TRADING For many new traders or part-time traders, there is this pervasive belief that with some time and effort, they'll be able to make "just" a few grand per month to supplement their income. Or they "don't want to aim big, they just want to replace their current salary via trading so they can have more freedom." This is because people mistakenly believe that trading is like most other jobs, rather than it being a winner-take-all performance endeavor more akin to becoming a professional athlete. 99.9% of athletes will never make a dime professionally. There is no market demand for your average high school or college player. To even make league minimum in the NBA, you are still in the .0001% of basketball players. There is no such thing as just deciding to casually make a few grand as a pro athlete. Think about what it takes for someone to make $50k/yr as a golfer? The skill gap to earn an income or make the league minimum is crazy to comprehend. The analogy I gave with @AT09_Trader was the story of Brian Scalabrine. Even though Brian Scalabrine “sucked” in the NBA, he would absolutely annihilate 99.9% of the people calling him trash. He once said the famous line that he’s closer in skill to LeBron James than his haters are to him, and that line perfectly explains trading. The gap between unprofitable and elite looks massive from the outside, but the real canyon is between unprofitable and making any amount of money consistently. People look at a trader making $1M a year and think that’s a different species. They assume someone doing $100k a year is basically the same as the guy still blowing accounts, just with better luck. That’s like saying Scalabrine and your friend who plays pickup on Tuesdays are basically equal because neither is LeBron. Going from $0 to consistently profitable is the hardest jump in trading. You CANNOT just casually make a few grand per month or supplement income part-time. The skill level needed to consistently make ANY AMOUNT trading is the equivalent of being in the league. A trader who can pull $100k a year out of the market is not “kind of good.” They have competency in finding edge, executing trades, handling their psychology and risk management, and are competing in the league. From there, scaling to $300k, $500k, even $1M is usually a function of size, capital, and refinement, not a complete identity shift. But the trader still stuck at breakeven or red? They’re not one tweak away from $100k. They’re not “basically there.” They’re still trying to prove they belong on the court at all. The uncomfortable truth is this: the distance between $0 and $100k is far greater than the distance between $100k and $1M. One requires becoming a professional. The other simply just requires becoming a more refined one. My confidence in taking a trader from $100k to $1m is probably 10x higher than my confidence in taking a trader from $0 to $100k.

P/L: +$4.2K👍 Wild fucking day. Was down Five Figures on three separate occasions including at one point being down -$46K on a bad $BIRD short trying to go for the double top at 14. Was able to recover most flipping long but total waste of a potentially big day but was red until AH before those trades finally put me back in the green. $VSA was down on this as well but glad it worked in the end. $KIDZ $LRHC $SNAL $AGAE $GBR wallet padders. $MAMO $MYSE $ALBT AH wallet padders.
