Sydney’s Port Jackson is one of the world's deepest natural harbors, formed when an ancient river valley was slowly submerged by rising seas. This capture from our Pelican constellation shows a metropolis profoundly influenced by its waterways, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge visible against a backdrop of maritime traffic.

We are expanding our Tanager fleet to deliver methane monitoring at scale. 🌍 In collaboration with @carbonmapper and @NASAJPL, we’re developing a specialized Tanager spacecraft. This iteration will be designed to: ✅ Capture 5x more area coverage. ✅ Double the sensitivity to methane super-emitters. ✅ Provide a 100km swath at 30-meter resolution. Slated for launch as early as 2028, these satellites will support both global greenhouse gas detection and commercial needs in agriculture, mineral exploration, and more. In this capture from our Pelican constellation, the rigid superblocks of Eixample contrast with the winding streets of El Raval. The city is legendary for its architectural diversity and innovative design, visible even from orbit.

Monitoring one of Africa’s longest pipelines used to mean slow inspections, high costs, and blind spots. With our imagery, Bluebell now gives Petrolines for Crude Oil LTD. You may think a satellite image is just a photo, but it’s actually a compressed array of bytes that usually takes hours to develop before a human ever sees it. By then, the data is already hours old. Our work with @NVIDIA is helping change that. The goal? Moving the “brains” of compute right next to the “eyes” of the sensor, expediting insights closer to the speed of collection.
