At #RestoreNatureNow rally outside @DefraGovUK with @ChrisGPackham and lots of other people and organisations who care about #nature. I loved all the talks and banners, especially @LeifBersweden talking about the plants we're losing. The Government must act now for our future!

Last night I completed the first of the 2 surveys needed for the @BCT_NBMP Waterway Survey. We did 10 x 4min surveys 100m apart along the river & recorded 6 passes by a Daubentons Bat (as well as Soprano Pipistrelles and Noctules). Back in two weeks! 🦇 @_BCT_ training in use!

Beautiful Jersey tiger #moth spotted by my brother Danny in Chelmsley Wood, West Midlands yesterday. My Granny has them in her garden in Windsor and we've seen them in Cornwall but this is our first so close to home 🦋 @savebutterflies @BC_WestMids #TeamMoth #MothsMatter

Our @gardenorganicuk amaranth on our #allotment has grown loads and is looking amazing! The three varieties all have slightly different flowers.

Watering our @gardenorganicuk amaranth plants which we're growing on our #allotment as part of a project looking at crops for a changing #climate 🌱🌱🌱

So excited that a lime I added to the @WoodlandTrust #AncientTreeInventory has been verified as an #AncientTree, possibly part of an avenue planted in the 1700s! My brothers and I have been searching for old trees and so far we've added 2 ancient trees and 25 veteran trees 🌳🌳🌳

Sad to see blackbirds on @BBCSpringwatch feeding berries, poss as worms hard to find. I went worm charming with Kingsbury Kingfishers RSPB Wildlife Explorers on Sat - but the ground was rock hard and no worms came! It's never happened before - we usually get loads! #Springwatch
