Then near the end of matrix, I know that an attack is coming, and with the knowledge of my core bar almost being filled, I activate ult and time my counter perfectly to charge up my bar safely without needing to expend an orb. Same thought process at 0:24. By 0:30, I have broken the mobs' super armor, therefore I know they can't retaliate while I chose to charge up my core slam power by doing sword wave normally by following them up to my basic attacks and not spam dodging, thus reserving my stamina. First wave of mob is cleared and the second one comes at 1:01. I notice that there's a lot of enemies and I don't want to risk cluttering the screen and stun locked by an attack I couldn't see coming. Therefore, I allow the enemies to disperse themselves by baiting out an attack to draw the charging ones out, also recharging my halfway filled dodge bar in the process. After that, I wait for an easy matrix trigger to go on the offensive. At 1:20, I notice that they have once grouped up again so I play it safe by waiting for an opening. Match goes on normally till I reach the third wave, that's where the real heavy hitters come in, the Peashooters. Due to my knowledge of their attack patterns, at 2:37, I already know that they will both begin an instant attack the moment matrix ends, therefore I rush to fully charge up my core passive by chaining multiple orbs together before the matrix comes. The reason I wanted to charge fully my core bar and not 90% of the way was because I know their attacks will overlap each other and my dodge counter could only counter a single hit, meaning the second overlapping hit would surely deal damage to me. Charging it all the way would allow me to gain instant access to the ground slam and its' Iframe right after the initial attack and completely negate the overlapping attacks. You can see it payed off at exactly 2:38. By this point I absolutely have to play safe for my matrix to come back on because these enemies have quick hitting attacks and the stage bumps their damage by a threatening amount. At 2:54 my dodge unfortunately runs out while an attack is coming so I have to use my ult for safety. I promptly created distance the moment the animation ends and tried to recharge my dodge by weaving the long ranged attacks at 3:04 instead of pressing dodge, I still did so however due to not wanting to risk it with the peashooter. Once my matrix is back I reengage but try to maximize my use of matrix time to regain whatever dodge I can at 3:10 and only dodging near the end. The battle goes on normally though I take a hit due to miscalculating my distance between me and the soldier dude but the battle is concluded.
