They just arent named after the regiments anymore because assholes got anal about playing "the wrong" minis or having them painted the wrong color for the choosen Regiment.

- the Tyranid invasion is unsuccessful/fought off in space
- the cult has spread off world (common, reason for recurring cults in lore)
- some hivefleets keep GSC around, either sending them ahead or using them as troops

10th edition has already removed the rules for anything that is not Cadians, Catachan, and Kreig. And not even having the Steel Legion in a Yarrik trailer is like not having the Tanith First for Gaunt. Painting Cadians red doesn't make them Vostroyans.

Fuck, GW used to do dedicated regiments! Vostroyans got a bunch of units, forge world had entire armies worth of Krieg and Mordians etc.
They've done it before. Literally no reason not to do it again

They are literally the faction with the third or fourth most models and Eldar is only ahead because Harlequins and Corsairs are folded in.
So no GW shouldnt waist resources on "Krieg in slightly different coat"
