@kenwiesner @hulu At the moment it doesn't, the PIP is controlled by Apple when players use their AV Framework. Unfortunately the Apple AV framework doesn't support RTSP which is what 99% of the CCTV cameras use. I am looking at options around this but for the moment it's not supported.

Hey @PlasmaSoftUK does your CCTV Viewer support PIP on Apple TV so I could display a camera in the corner and watch @Hulu or something else behind it?

@gekjr However also be aware that without dns, firewall and router configuration you will only be able to view them while connected to your local Wi-Fi.

@gekjr Been looking at it, but having trouble organising settings & configuration screens due to the very small screen size. I’m working on a complete re-write of the app so that’s taking priority, but yes ideally there will be an iPhone version in the future, but no ETS as yet.

@PlasmaSoftUK Hi, I’m using CCTV Viewer with Reolink-810A 4K cameras, and I’m having some issues. Im able to test stream them on VLC on my computer, but in CCTV Viewer they load inconsistently or not at all, and often freeze while playing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

We are working on completely re-writing the CCTV Viewer app from the ground up in Swift. This is a large undertaking but will allow us to bring you new features & hopefully a more robust app. It will allow per Group/Camera settings, & also iCloud sync. We welcome your input!

@metabrew I have a new beta in testing that might tick this box. You would need to create a group of 2 cameras & then enable the feature to be able to hear the sound from both cameras at the same time while at the thumbnail screen. If you would like to test this DM me your email address

@gekjr It should work without requiring this, as Ubnt haven't enabled 2FA support on their local API. Are you getting an error when trying to login?

@PlasmaSoftUK CCTV Viewer: Unifi Protect; I have Two Factor Authentication turned on for login nonfield in the app to enter this.

@chrisrbk When you are in the config screen what is the 5 digit device Id shown in the lower right corner. We can discuss this on DM if you would prefer.

Yay it works! Had a minor reverse polarity incident but thankfully the on board fused saved my driver's. Need to find a new fuse now though as it's being bypassed for the minute.

@zeus2 Unfortunately Apple only allow access to the CarPlay SDK to specific companies, usually very large ones like Google etc. I guess it will eventually become publicly available at which point I will look in to it! 😎
