@BreakingKevin I know I have the contrarian opinion and I know he was injured last year. I truly just feel like the numbers point to that not mattering much. But again, could very well be wrong. This is just where I am with MHJ, personally.

MHJ. Year 3 breakout? Or Disappointing bust? I see a lot of optimism about the year 3 breakout. My bet: his value is more likely to go down than up. Here’s why:

The thing about it is, always playing from behind is alright. But people are looking at brissett like he will last all year and repeat his garbage time production from least year. I think the odds say otherwise. Benched mid-season and then from there it gets much worse for the pass catchers.

@FFDynastyGrill @PlayForKeepsFF I can see arizona offense improving with now a good running game, more TDs opportunities for Mcbride but less targets overall. They will still be playing from behind since they are not favorite in a single game this season

Bottom line: MHJ isn’t worth his current dynasty price. The projections say it. The team environment says it. He’s a poor bet to make in 2026. That’s my opinion, not a guarantee. One McBride Week 1 injury and the entire calculation flips. Fantasy football is always a gamble. MHJ just isn’t the gamble I’m going to make in 2026.

And here’s the part nobody is pricing in: I’d bet Brissett gets benched mid-late season. That means Carson Beck is (probably) the QB during the fantasy playoffs. Simplified scheme, reduced air yards, a team in evaluation mode. The fantasy weeks that decide titles become the worst games of the season for MHJ.

@FFDynastyGrill Yea I share a lot of these same feelings with some minor tweaks. But one thing is for sure, TD regression is absolutely coming for McBride. Good stuff 🤝

He’s awesome and I think he will continue to be elite. The sell just comes as I think he’s reached peak value, he can’t possibly have another season like that again and I can certainly see Warren & Loveland having very similar seasons to McBride (Marv taking a step forward, rookie QB Beck being given game time). TD regression I think will come for McBride (not massively but Jeremiyah Love and a much better running game will see more TDs on the ground and take away from feeding McBride

@FFDynastyDog I’d still take the pick at this point. The class is very strong as of now which I know isn’t breaking news. But even just looking at all the (projected) 27 rookies, I think that mid-late 1st will be a better bet than Rashee long term
